Rania, the name of the Queen of Jordan, is synonymous of elegance. With this necklace, Fulvia Notari’s contemporary design interprets the centuries-old tradition of blown Murano glass in an unusual way. Shiny and matt, round and flat, steel and glass: the rhythmic repetition of these simple elements creates the elegant decorative pattern of the Rania necklace.
Rania is made with mouth-blown and hand-moulded Murano glass beads by expert glass artists. Some of the beads are sun blasted glass spheres while the flatter beads are glossy pastel-glass in the same colour. The bead separating rings are in hypoallergenic stainless steel.
The beads are strung on a stainless steel wire with a hypoallergenic clasp.
