Description
Of ancient origins, the Pulcinella owes its image to a portrait of the sixteenth century inspired by the figure of Puccio Aniello, a smart and idle peasant from Acerra who, it is said, joined a company of actors. His deeds, told by writers of the time, became famous until it landed at the Commedia dell’Arte (Comedy of Art) in which, for his blunt and mocking sincerity, he became the antagonist of Arlecchino, a Bergamo mask who embodies the silly and credulous but servile and double in the presence of the powerful. The 925 silver Pulcinella Mask Bead Charm is a nice and intriguing reminder of the magical Napolitan atmosphere.
Compatible with Pandora, Vivara and Trollbeads bracelets, the Charms are in pure 925 silver and hand forged by Tedora, a famous Tuscan laboratory specializing in the creation of unique miniatures dedicated to Italian traditions and monuments.
