Description
Italian sculptor, artist and entrepreneur of glass, Napoleone Martinuzzi (Murano 1892-Venice 1977) distinguished himself in the 1930s for the refinement of his work both in the sculptural field and in the world of design. Prominent figure of the Venetian cultural world, he was noticed by Gabriele D ‘Annunzio becoming one of his favorite artists. He was director of the Glass Museum in Murano and collaborated with VENINI signing very important pieces including, in 1930, the Decò vase in opaline glass, a timeless icon of the brand.
The small imperfections, where present, are an indication of the absolute uniqueness of the product.
