It is a lamp-worked jewel-sculpture where a rich aventurine decoration placed on a light silver plate is set in a black circle creating a dazzling contrast. The annular part is of a very pure transparent glass.
Alessandra, the artist who created it, works calmly in her Murano atelier, far from the noise and frenzy of Venice, in the company of the slow lapping of the waters of the canal that runs in front of her. Equipped with an extraordinary creativity, we see her concentrated at the banquet among glass “rods”, work tools, tiny boxes of gold, silver and natural copper powder leaves, forging real works of art on the flame.
